Challenge

Adani Buildcast faced a tight construction timeline requiring the placement of M60 grade self-compacting concrete (SCC) with high early-strength performance for heavily loaded structural elements. The goal was to achieve rapid formwork turnover, maintain excellent flowability in congested reinforcement areas, and ensure superior surface finishes—all while avoiding cold joints during large continuous pours.

Key Challenge: Standard admixtures were unable to deliver the required combination of fast strength gain and extended workability under challenging site conditions and temperature variations.

Solution

Cretoflow recommended a high-performance superplasticizer designed to enhance early hydration and strength development without compromising the critical workability window needed for SCC placement.
